As Director, Content Marketing (DCM) based in our Norwalk CT offices, your primary objective will be to operate across content development, audience development and marketing to develop, manage and execute successful social media and digital marketing campaigns in support of our product lines. The DCM will have expertise in copywriting - digital agency a plus – and be charged with marketing UBM Medica content across social media and related social media tools, SEO/SEM activities, press, societies and key bloggers and influencers, in a way that will drive audience to UBM Medica digital properties. The DCM will participate in editorial planning meetings and interface regularly with site editors to understand and identify key content to drive audience interest, with audience development in understanding site analytics and jointly meeting audience development milestones, and with marketing in expanding branding and health-care professional engagement. The DCM will also utilize their top-notch communication skills in working with a cross-departmental team to maintain and develop the master content marketing calendar for all venues, and oversee postings, tweets and community outreach. Your highly analytical abilities will be leveraged in this role to keep current with emerging technologies through relevant blogs, listservs, and events; and track and report on all social media metrics. As such, strong web skills are a must, with emphasis on web analytics, traffic reporting systems and search engine optimization. Experience with Omniture and Google Analytics a plus. While not required, experience working in the field of health care is also a plus to allow the successful candidate to hit the ground running.
