Director – Corporate Credit Risk recruitment
This leading investment bank is currently looking to hire a Director-level Credit Risk candidate for its Corporate Credit Risk function. The successful candidate will focus on Aerospace Defense and Industrials.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Acting as a principal credit officer for a portfolio of complex counterparties.
- Providing leadership and direction to more junior candidates within the team.
- Taking ownership and accountability for all transaction risks in the portfolio including client selection, structuring, documentation and continuous review.
- Working closely with a broad range of stakeholders across the front office and risk management.
- Ad hoc involvements in projects as and when required.
In terms of experience, you will have:
- Extensive experience in the Credit Risk department of a leading international investment bank.
- Strong credit analysis skills and previous delegated authority experience.
- Previous experience covering the Industrial, Aerospace and / or Defense space.
- Strong documentation and deal structuring experience.
- A strong knowledge of traded financial products.
- Strong ISDA documentation skills are essential.
- Previous experiencing developing more junior members of the team.
