Director, Corporate Strategy, Investment Banking
Our client is a major financial services group, operating internationally. They are now looking to add a Director to their Investment Banking group, who will work for the Head of Strategy for the Division. This senior role will have significant involvement in the shaping and development of the division.
The opportunity will involve you in three broad areas.
Corporate strategy
This will involve the shaping and formulating of strategy for the overall shaping and development of the business. This will involve working with senior management and global business leads to structure and execute decisions.
Business development and implementation
Working closely with the business to ensure that the strategy is properly implemented across the bank, working with senior management to ensure that strategy is understood and defined
Strategic support
The opportunity will involve you in assisting management of the business with key strategic issues, working on specific strategies for each business unit, and helping MDs achieve their strategic objectives.
Candidates will have a background as follows:
Applicants will be experienced and senior level strategy professionals, who will have a background as follows:
- Senior engagement manager/ principal/ junior partner level professionals from firms such as McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Booz Allen, Oliver Wyman
- Director level strategy professionals from other investment banks or financial services groups
- You must have strong investment banking, financial markets experience.
