Canada represents one of the largest International Markets and is a significant driver of growth for ICSS. The successful incumbent will be responsible for leading a Team to develop and deploy innovative acquisition strategies to acquire Consumer Cardmembers in Canada. The individual will own the creation of new digital growth opportunities as well as manage acquisition strategies and performance across 10 products and the following channels: - Search (PPC and SEO) - Online Media and Advanced Media Targeting - Co-brand Partner Channels - Mobile - Social Media (direct response, new partnerships and viral) - Affiliates / New Online Partners PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES - Drive new Consumer Cardmember acquisition through all digital channels to meet aggressive goals - Develop Card acquisition strategies to penetrate high income and high potential target segments - Transform the business by evaluating and recommending new functionality/capabilities/approaches - Engage with Co-brand Partner, Product, and Brand Teams to integrate acquisition opportunities - Collaborate closely with the IMPACT (International Marketing) Team on digital strategy and capabilities - Lead and develop a Team of 9 individuals - Work with Product Teams to optimize new product/offer value propositions and acquisition profitability - Partner with the Risk/Underwriting Team to ensure optimal targeting and downstream performance American Express is an equal opportunity employer. - Minimum 8 years Marketing experience - Digital Marketing and Acquisition experience strongly preferred - Strategic and analytical orientation/mindset - Superior problem-solving/decision making skills - Demonstrated ability to drive thought leadership and motivate Teams toward a collective vision - Proven track record of consistently delivering results and driving innovation and change - Ability to focus, prioritize and optimize use of resources - Vendor management experience including negotiation and performance management an asset
