Director, Digital (Online) Experience and Capabilities recruitment
Position Overview:
Located in Toronto, working for a premier global financial institution, the Director will be responsible for leading a team to develop and deliver against the end-to-end customer experience online in Canada for consumer lending and payment products and the strategic development and execution of a Canadian online commerce strategy. The ideal candidate must have clearly demonstrated an exceptional strategic and analytical orientation/mindset.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible to develop the strategic plan for the end-to-end customer experience online in Canada
• Transform the business by recommending, launching and leveraging online capabilities/enhancements to enhance and entrench customer loyalty and engagement, leading to the development of an online customer life cycle strategy
• Lead Drive to Web/Drive to Social initiatives – promoting step change improvements in key engagement metrics
• Lead the strategic development of the Online Commerce strategy in Canada
• Lead thinking on Web 2.0 applications and measurement of social media, determining how the Company might leverage these to deepen customer relationships and contribute to market share growth.
• Sits on Canadian Consumer Leadership Team and contributes to the overall strategic direction of the consumer business Canada
• Lead a team of 6+, managing their career and professional development
• Collaborate closely with the local and international marketing and interactive teams on strategy and capabilities to advance the Company’s position in the digital and social spheres as well as a the next generation of payments
Qualifications:
• Minimum 8 years marketing experience with at least 5 years in Digital / Online Marketing
• Must have a proven strategic and analytical orientation/mindset
• Superior problem-solving/decision making skills
• Demonstrated ability to drive thought leadership and motivate teams toward a collective vision
• Proven track record of consistently delivering results and driving innovation and change management
• Ability to focus, prioritize and optimize use of resources
• Strong management and talent development skills
• Demonstrated ability to influence within and across a matrix organization
