Director, Direct Marketing Req #: 19401BR Division: Kaplan University State: Florida City: Fort Lauderdale FT/PT: Full-Time Job Description Position Summary Manages cross-channel, cross-vertical and Kaplan University general direct marketing campaign strategy and execution, including responsibility for developing key growth segments. Incumbent is responsible for campaign management, testing and analysis for Kaplan University wide initiatives, and to work with the vertical marketing team to coordinate multi-channel direct marketing campaigns. Key Job Responsibilities Provide strategy and direction that will result in better and more efficient marketing and channel optimization. Manage and champion process improvements across marketing channels and initiatives including cross departmental processes impacting the student acquisition funnel. Assist the Exec. Dir of Marketing in budgeting, reporting, strategy and planning of current and future student generation activities, goals and growth. Manage vendor and agency relationships. Negotiate rates, track usage, plan resources, improve processes and evaluate performance. Explore new strategic vendor relationships and products. Evaluate offerings, costs, strategic, short term and long term value to the business and make recommendations to Marketing executive team. Hire, develop, coach and manage managers responsible for various lead generation channels and marketing activity. Strategy development for marketing activities related to lead generation, improving conversion rate, improving start rate, and acquiring higher quality, successful students. Manage and champion process improvement across direct marketing channels including cross-departmental processes impacting the student acquisition funnel. Direct testing and optimization of direct marketing metrics including targeting, strategy, SIF improvements and landing page optimization. Planning and optimization across all direct lead generation channels. Improvement, vetting and presentation of lead generation reporting by channel and vertical. Innovate, develop and launch new and emerging channels. Create key marketing metrics (KPI's) for which you will be held accountable. Meet all budget requirements. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree required. 3-5 years related experience Product development, advertising, direct, web, email, and partner management. Strong analytics and decision making skills. Superior written and oral communication skills. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
