Director Director of Procurement and Payment Service

West Virginia University (WVU) is seeking applications for the Director of Procurement, Contracting and Payment Services (PCPS) in the Division of Finance. This position serves as the Chief Procurement Officer for both West Virginia University and its affiliated Research Corporation, which administers all extramurally sponsored research. The Director of Procurement, Contracting and Payment Services will build upon significant existing investment to transform the procurement and payment functions at WVU into a strategic sourcing operation that provides an innovative, effective and efficient means to acquire goods and commodities for its university customers. Candidates should demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills to develop partnership across university entities for stewardship and continued modernization of sound procurement and payment practices. The successful candidate must have a Bachelor s Degree in Business Administration (or equivalent discipline). A graduate degree in a related field is strongly preferred. Certification by NAPM/NIGP or equivalent is a positive factor in candidate evaluations. Salary is competitive and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
