Director – Divisional Head Corporate Business recruitment
The overall objective of the Divisional Head role is to facilitate and own the delivery of the entire service proposition across new business, due diligence and data management on behalf of the Corporate Sector business. The role is intended to operate with a strong commercial focus ensuring tight alignment to the objectives of the business, whilst enabling the right service to be delivered, at the right time, for the right price.
Some of the key accountabilities for this role will include:
- Service Delivery - Responsible for delivery of the entire service proposition across New Business, Due Diligence and Data Management on behalf of the Corporates business.
- Work closely with senior business managers stakeholders and Functional Heads to ensure that the service meets agreed Performance Level Agreements (PLA's). Negotiates and agrees internal PLA's with Functional Heads to procure the appropriate services from Functional Production Groups.
- Service Measurement, Management and Improvement - Collaborate closely with the Service Management Group to measure, manage and improve the service proposition across the business sector. Ensure a strong focus on continuous improvement is followed to realise efficiencies and enhance the service proposition.
- Cost Management - Ensure the service proposition is delivered in a commercially sensible cost framework. Continue to seek opportunities to improve cost efficiencies whilst maintaining and improving service levels against agreed PLA's
- Stakeholder / Relationship Management - Own and manage the interface to business sector stakeholders and relevant Global Market sales product teams. The Divisional Head will act as the point of aggregation for all service delivery issues and as such will be required to leverage and collaborate with the site functional managers to aid and facilitate this
- Team Leadership - Lead a direct team of Client Managers and a virtual team of cross functional resources across Client Documentation, KYCS, Credit Services and Data Management to effectively deliver Client Onboarding services to agreed PLA's. This leadership role will require close collaboration with Functional Heads who will own the performance management of the virtual team members. You will be responsible for the day to day direction of resources spanning both onshore and the Global Service Centres and, as such, will have a significant contribution to team / staff performance management.
It is essential that you have relevant experience for the above role in a Senior Director level position with large multi-project and multi-stakeholder programmes in an international investment bank. Good commercial and financial management ability with a proven track record and experience in a shared service model is required, as are strong client facing and leadership skills. You will also need excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain global and regional relationships at all levels of the organisation.
