Director- ECM/DCM Compliance Regulatory Advisory

A European Investment Bank is looking to hire a Director into its Compliance Advisory team. The role sits on the Private Side and will cover both ECM and DCM.

The Firm:
The Bank sits at the top of the European and global league tables for Capital Markets advisory and in the UK is one of the leading Corporate Broking Houses on the market. The firm represents over 100 of the highest performing listed businesses in the UK and has deep relationships with many of the Euro 600 companies on the continent. As a result, their ECM DCM teams are set to explode over the next year in terms of deal flow and the expansion of the team. As a Compliance Officer covering the area, you will be deeply involved in ensuring that the regulatory obligations affecting the Capital Markets division are upheld and fully transparent. 

With increased regulatory demands being brought on the Investment Banks on a daily basis, and crisis after crisis hitting the news, the firm is expanding their Compliance division and keen to meet with candidates from disparate banking backgrounds.

What to expect:
The role will give the individual the opportunity to increase exposure across both ECM and DCM and the opportunity to liaise with key stakeholders. The compliance officer works within the existing compliance advisory team and reports into the Head of Private Side Advisory.

The role will involve support for the team’s advisory responsibilities in respect of both the Equity Capital Markets and Debt Capital Markets Solutions Group; The role will also have exposure to IBD and Corporate Financing.

The Candidate:
Candidates for this role will need to be currently working in a capital markets advisory role with experience of equity capital markets OR debt capital markets. They will need to be able to give regulatory advice and a good understanding the FCA handbook.
