Position Summary This position is responsible for management and oversight of database administration solutions delivery teams. Responsible for technical strategy and execution of database infrastructure in a mission-critical, 24/7 environment to support the growth of Wal-Mart Global Ecommerce (GEC). The role requires significant breadth in supporting broad range of systems including e-commerce, accounting, customer service, and warehouse management. Responsible for cross functional solutions delivery team accountable for delivery of infrastructure to support the business roadmap. Develops and implements strategies to support business roadmap, accountable for project execution, developing resource plans; removing barriers to success; ensuring others have the information, resources, implementation time, and talent needed to succeed; developing and upgrading work assignments and processes to accomplish goals across functions.
