SUMMARY: Supports strategic objectives and operations of Business Insurance, including compliance initiatives, product development and projects that affect multiple lines and business units. PRIMARY DUTIES: Supports projects and initiatives in support of Enterprise Product - Interline, in direct partnership with Business Insurance partners. Effectively manages projects and coordinates efforts between other business groups in the organization, driving product consistency and quality, with a customer-focused emphasis Designs, develops and maintains Interline policies, standards, guidelines and underwriting tools to support business units. Develops strong, trusted working relationships with product partners in the various BI business units to ensure adequate support of projects and initiatives. Works collaboratively with business units to support product line strategy in the business and/or Business Insurance. Researches and analyzes compliance issues across the organization to ensure consistency, effectiveness of implementation and compliance, and effective communication methods to business partners Identifies internal and external product and compliance trends/opportunities/emerging issues and educates business units, serving as a central resource bringing together overlapping issues for a coordinated solution in support of strategic goals and objectives Works in alignment with General Liability, Umbrella, Workers Compensation and Auto team leadership to ensure coordination of and partnership on strategic objectives Serves as a strategic tools expert and resource, working with Product Catalog and eLibrary teams to provide support and identify efficiencies and opportunities. Qualifications: Knowledge of state insurance regulatory environments and compliance Knowledge of product development process Policy form development experience Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a diverse team Possess an external focus and vision for superior outcomes Ability to develop, build and leverage strong, trusted relationships with internal and external partners Ability to manage and adapt to multiple projects and multiple customer demands with competing priorities and deadlines effectively and professionally Proactively seeks opportunities to lead projects and displays initiative Education / Work Experience: College degree or higher level of education 7-10 years of insurance industry experience Excellent customer service and project management skills Property and casualty product knowledge desirable Underwriting background preferred Travelers is an equal opportunity employer.
