Role:
Financial management of the global Finance function including CCC,SSC,DCSC and FSSC:
• Implement a robust cost management framework within Finance to include identification of and control over the drivers of cost including headcount, reporting activity, etc;
• Management of the investment activities of the function including investments in people, systems and other infrastructure;
• Control over the annual budget cycle, control over the Finance cost forecast at a country/regional/group level, monitoring and controlling the monthly finance cost performance;
• Ongoing analysis of the finance cost base to determine opportunities to drive efficiency and areas where further investment may be required.
Financial management of the Finance Transformation project. Finance is undertaking a transformation initiative focused on identifying implementing industry best practice in terms of process efficiency, business performance management and strategic decision support. This transformation involves significant investment in terms of IT and Infrastructure spend and talent development and acquisition. The role holder will be responsible for:
• Tracking of project spend against the approved PARs at an initiative and portfolio level;
• Ensuring that the project stays within budget and forecast
• Benefits tracking
• Remediation measures as appropriate.

Develop Best Practice Management Information Process Efficiency
• Partner with FSSC to develop and deliver regular management information and decision support for all key Finance stakeholders in an efficient and effective way.
• Representing Group Finance within Group wide Management Reporting standardisation initiative;
• Developing Owning the end to end development, submission, monitoring delivery of the Finance function's budget commitments;
Best Practice Expense Management
• Proactively develop, propose and ultimately implement a best practice expense management framework for Finance;
• As the champions of performance management Finance will also lead the development of a Group wide expense management approach - it is anticipated that this role with be a key stakeholder in developing delivering this approach
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: (List typical pre-requisites for high performance)
• Senior Finance professional with at least 10 years post qualified experience;
• Proven expense management e decision support experience within international, matrix management organisation;
• Appropriate professional qualifications with commercial bias
• Highly developed analytical, communication and organisation skills
• Strong leadership skills
• High integrity and ethics
