Director Finance Business Partner :: Cost / Expense Strategy – direct CFO face-off recruitment
My client, a top tier global investment and retail bank is looking for a finance-to-finance business partner to provide financial reporting strategic overview to senior management (CFO, COO) of the business.
The group is undergoing a larger change initiative to standardise the GL and control across the banking steams (investment, retail, commercial an corporate) to provide once source of information.
Given the scalability of the group they are looking for a senior individual to act as a liaison between finance, IT, Operations and Change business heads to provide accurate financial information to Senior Management.
Acting as an advisor to the regional business you will be responsible for:
- Delivery of financial and management reporting to the group on the regional and global perspective
- Providing a high level overview of finance to senior management detailing performance, strategy and analytics
- Advising the CFO on cost saving initiatives across the region
- Driving finance change and BAU initiatives across the group
- Acting as a gatekeeper on all control and reporting policies of the group.
- Managing relationships between finance business heads
Experience:
- 15+ years in a financial control / reporting / expense management / cost strategy environment in the financial services space.
- Strong knowledge of reporting policies, control group and accounting standards
- Team management experience
- Experience in working within finance change or management of global/regional finance functions.
