Director Finance Change - Basel CRDIV Programme Director / Programme Manager – Leading Investment Bank
Leading Investment Bank in London is looking for a well-established Finance Change Director to act as Programme Manager to deliver Capital Related Programs of work across finance and risk.
As the Programme Manager you will deliver all necessary change to systems, processes and data required to support mandatory regulatory demands of a capital nature. Deliveries to date have included Basel 3 / CRD2 and CRD3 compliance. Current priorities in 2013 include COREP and Basel 3 / CRD4 implementations, including solutions for counterparty credit risk changes and the new leverage ratio. Future demands are likely to include the FSA Trading Book Review and Economic Capital initiatives.
As the lead you will be the primary point of contact within Finance Change and Finance Systems. This will entail driving forward and completing the detailed business requirements and impact assessments globally and delivery of on-going global projects. Looking at how the existing infrastructure is being used and process changes within the business.
Manage various regional Finance Change teams to deliver key phases of Global Finance driven projects and assist regional Finance teams in compiling project related information, offering guidance as needed.
Sponsored by the CFO for Markets, and due to the internal focus on capital management, this is a high profile initiative considered key amongst senior management and the business. Due to the ambitious targets the programme will be managed within a strict delivery framework to maintain high delivery standards and quality output.
Strong Programme Manager background and be credible working at a senior level, excellent communication skills are essential as is the ability to work under little supervision. You need to be delivery focused and have a background in managing multi million pound annual budgets and 50+ Finance Change / Finance Transformation people.
Along with strong business knowledge around Finance, balance sheet management, capital reporting management and accounting knowledge of investment bank products. You will have extensive experience of developing regulatory solutions across the project lifecycle, with a strong track record of successful delivery. In addition he/she will have a good understanding of Regulatory Reporting.
Solid CV with outstanding academics, numeracy, IT literacy and communication skills. Most importantly the potential to rapidly add value in this extremely switched on environment.
