Director Financial Control – Chennai recruitment
Reporting directly into the Regional CFO across Asia with indirect reporting lines into NY and London , you will have responsibility for a diverse Finance team , who in turn have oversight for 3 core areas – Finance and Legal Entity Controlling , Regulatory Reporting and MI and Decision Support. You will provide direction and management for this team and ensure that the quality of financial information for head office and the business is of a consistently high quality. You will also manage the relationship with regional regulators and auditors and act in an advisory capacity to the business in regards to any regulatory changes that could impact the regional business units.
To qualify for this position you will require :
- Experience of operating at a senior level in an Investment Bank
- An accounting qualification and background with strong controllership experience preferably with regulatory experience
- An analytical mind with the ability to make insightful commentary to the internal stakeholders
- Strong people management experience and exposure to managing a team in Asia
- Energy and commitment with a desire for change and process improvement
