Director, Financial Risk Management recruitment
A top tier Risk Consultancy is looking for a Director level candidate to join their Shanghai office to assist in the development and delivery of risk management policies, systems and controls projects.
Prospective candidates must be well versed in the following areas of Risk - credit, market, operational and liquidity; economic capital, stress testing, risk modelling and validation; the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing and regulatory compliance issues.
Strong knowledge and previous experience of Basil II implementation projects is essential.
As well as delivering projects, this role entails a degree of business and strategy development to assist in the further growth of the practice.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 10+ years experience within the financial services industry, either working within a Bank or within a consultancy / professional services firm – a combination of the two is highly desirable
• Expert knowledge of the FRM’s core areas, e.g. Basel II, credit risk, market risk, operational risk, liquidity risk, risk modelling etc.
• Extensive working experience and contacts network within Greater China
• Strong presentation skills with outstanding communication skills in written and spoken English and Mandarin
