Director, Financial Solution Specialist
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Relationship Management Team in consulting with key clients to structure innovative financial solutions across multiple asset classes and product lines.
- Deliver strategic advisory services in innovative financial solutions to capture deal opportunities.
- Act as a bridge between Relationship Management Team and Product Specialists, conduct preliminary study on client service requests to look at the feasibility of the transactions.
- Develop strategies and plans to generate intra-product line and cross-entity cooperation and deal flow.
- Help to drive the product lines’ agenda by matching client requirements and the Group strategy.
- Work closely with Relationship Management Team and Product Specialists to ensure the realization of global and regional sales and client account plans for key clients.
- Build and maintain relationship with lines of businesses of other associated and affiliated companies to generate ideas and maximize cross-sell of products and bundled solutions.
- Conduct deal review and meetings with core Product Specialists and other functions to ensure coordinated management of client relationships and transition to implementation at deal closure.
- Ensure strong Sales and Product Risk Management compliance (KYC, AML and Reputation Risk, etc) and adherence to client relevant Audit, Credit, Compliance and Risk policies.
- Participate in regular Relationship Management Meetings.
Requirements
- Postgraduate degree holder in the relevant discipline.
- Solid experience in working within Financial Solution Group for global financial institutions and in managing Global Market projects.
- Track record in financial solution advisory roles to multiple industries.
- Hands-on experience in implementing financial solution centers for global banks.
- Working experience in a complex matrix organization.
- Hands-on experience obtained from working within a client engagement model where building relationships with internal partners is critical to success.
- Sound knowledge of investment banking products (from plain vanilla to complex structured products).
- Experience of managing a small professional team.
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication and persuasion skills.
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Mandarin.
