Position Description:
Summary
The Director, FSU Processing Operations is responsible for the management of the national headquarters fundraising databases, including training, data management, user enhancements, process improvement, user support and support to chapters. Responsible for defining, designing and implementing continuous improvement programs to ensure fundraising systems, changes to systems and associated processes are integrated vertically and horizontally across organization. Defines system improvement projects aligned with overall development strategies. Analyzes fundraising system improvement initiatives to ensure achievement of desired results. Facilitates and coaches process operations and process improvement teams. Establishes and maintains performance metrics to measure effectiveness of all fundraising platforms.
Responsibilities
Managers a team of employees and vendors who together are responsible for the day-to-day operations of all "back office" processes and supporting systems. Manages a team that is responsible for specifying process changes, system fixes and enhancements (from a business perspective). Also responsible for managing vendors and IT to ensure successful implementation system fixes and enhancements. Manages staff that is responsible for leading campaign setup with marketing. Manages projects such as the potential addition of a new telemarketing vendor. Responsible for managing the prioritization and coordinated implementation of fundraising processing system defect corrections and small system enhancements. Develops and delivers comprehensive management and detailed operational performance reporting. Process owner for ensuring all data movement and interfaces run as required. Responsible for the quality and accuracy of all donor related data maintained in the Team Approach and Salesforce donor database. Ensure that the donor data management system meets the needs of the end users. Coordinate and manage relationships within Development and with other stakeholder units, particularly Information Systems and Finance, on data management initiatives and priorities throughout the department. Establish donor data management plans and policies to support national headquarters and chapter development plans and programs. Develop and lead projects to improve the quality and cost-effectiveness of donor data management. Manage the training and ongoing support of all database users. Ensure that the training programs meet the needs of the end users. Ensure that all user questions are answered in a timely and appropriate manner. Manage data related process improvement. Work closely with stakeholders within Development to identify and implement user enhancements. Work closely with stakeholder departments, including Finance and Internal Audit, to ensure processes meet established guidelines. Ensures all fundraising systems are maintained (including user access) and enhanced based on auditable enterprise change standards
