Director – Fund Administration recruitment
Due to the continued expansion of our fund administration business we are now looking to recruit a senior professional with extensive industry experience and a solid track record in the operational environment of a third party fund administration business. The Director will be expected to support the Fund Administration Partner and all other Executive Directors on an ongoing basis.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive the implementation of agreed Service Line strategy in Jersey
• Develop and deliver a robust Service Line business plan which delivers expected performance outcomes in Jersey
• Demonstrate effective leadership and people management in accordance with Group values and with agreed policies and procedures which are compliant with current laws and regulations.
• Work with the Fund Administration Partner to identify and deliver key operating efficiencies that will increase the business unit's financial contribution to the Group
• Work with the Partners to develop specific service proposals, linking in with the legal practices to provide a combined legal and administration fee proposal where appropriate
• Manage existing client relationships on a proactive basis ensuring Group is leading the client thought process in respect of service delivery
• Report business unit performance to plan, articulating any variances both favourable and adverse
• Deliver financial performance to budgeted requirements
Competencies
• Significant financial services industry experience with a particular emphasis on the outsourced investment funds administration market
• Level 4/5 professional qualification with a minimum of 10 years PQE or equivalent
• In depth knowledge of Private Equity fund administration required, knowledge of Hedge Fund administration also beneficial.
• Proven track record at Director level
• Excellent in people management, performance management
• First class communication skills with proven track record of delivering projects on time and in budget.
• High level of business acumen and commerciality
• Ability to gain commitment of others and used to operating and interacting with Board level colleagues.
