Director FX Products recruitment

The candidate must be recognized as a subject matter expert in FX with intimate knowledge of, and experience within, the FX market. Must have an understanding of CME group’s customers, exchange and OTC competitors and industry issues and drivers of change.

The candidate must be skilled at developing a longer-term perspective on our existing and new business commitments, articulating ideas for growth and rationale to proceed by constructing and owning business cases for new initiatives committed to execution and expected business results.

Primary Accountabilities
• Understand global competitive landscape and execute growth strategy
• Understand and assist in development of go-to-market planning, messaging and execution for product line
• Analyze product and segment performance and help define trends and focus areas for growth
• Help define value proposition and penetration strategies for products, clients, and geographies
• Assist in development of product portfolio business strategy
• Provide input to market adoption mechanisms (e.g., pricing, market maker programs, incentives)
• Provide subject matter expertise to support sales efforts
• Effectively leverage Research and Marketing functions in order to maximize current and potential client development strategies
• Measures of Success:
o Revenue and volume growth of the business line by:
- Segment
- Product
- Geography
- Existing Products
o Strategic initiatives/Organic and inorganic growth
o Diversification and globalization
o Market share/competitive performance
o Liquidity maker/taker ratios

Qualifications
• 5+ years experience in FX sales, marketing or product/business line management, developing derivative products with knowledge of futures and OTC FX products
• Solid understanding of electronic trading platforms, algorithmic trading and supporting technology
• Experience executing successful business strategies and plans
• Strong customer service skills and demonstrated ability to interact effectively across all levels of an organization including senior level management
• Well-developed business acumen and business management skills, complemented by strategic expertise and sound business judgment
• Proven abilities to influence others and to achieve tangible business results
• Bachelor’s degree
• Travel required, 25-35%
