Job Description

The Group Consumer Banking Strategy team is a high profile internal consulting team that advises and supports the top management of the Consumer Bank at the Global, Regional and Country level in addressing a range of strategic issues facing the Consumer Bank .

We are looking for a Director to join the team in Singapore. This a full time and permanent role, with the expectation that members of the team will transition into high impact roles in the business.

While the role is based in Singapore travel will be expected as team members work on project that span the whole Consumer Bank franchise or specific regions/countries.

Key Roles Responsibilities

- Lead Consumer Bank Strategy projects
- Structure projects and manage projects day-to-day
- Manage project teams, provide consulting skills coaching to Associate Directors and Associates
- Provide thought leadership to project team and internal clients
- Present findings to senior management
- Create synthesised senior management documents and Board Papers

Qualifications Skills

- Well-rounded advanced consulting skills; project management, communication, problem solving skills critical (e.g., those gained at a top consulting firm)
- Strong team leadership experience: has track record of delivering multiple projects as a project manager
- Financial institution experience (as a consultant and/or manger), preferably with retail banking, private banking, SME, and/or wealth management
- Experience working in CB's footprint markets (Asia, Africa, Middle East) an advantage
- Asian or Arabic language skills an advantage
- MBA from a top tier global school an advantage
