Director, Head of Client On-Boarding Technology recruitment

As part of an ongoing move to centralise a number of Operations and Technology services across the Bank, my client is setting up a Client On-Boarding Centre of Excellence that can leverage its exisiting knowledge and techical capabilities to create a delivery function that can provide services to the wider group.

The Head of COB will be responsible for setting up the organisation, determining its overall organisation structure and its engagement model with business lines across the group.  The role will involve significant stakeholder management , programme management and commercial management responsibilities.

You will need to ensure that the overall build out of the Centre of Excellence is underpinned with appropriate lifecycle controls and structures.  You will establish processes to ensure that business line engagement with the COE follows a planned and controlled process.  You will be required to enable accurate and relevant status reporting across the set up of the new structure to allow effective decision makinh and scutinise the project status information for accuracy.

You will be responsible for all aspects of Programme/Project management, Planning, Quality Management, Financial Management, Strategy, Business Planning and Design, Resource Management, People Manahement and Stakeholder Management and as such will need demonstrable experience in all of these areas.

Candidate Requirements:

You will beed to possess a demonstrable track record of working with Client On-Boarding envionments, particularly working on a variety of Client Master Data or CRM projects with successful delivery, stakeholder mangement and strong governance controls as well as being disciplined and experienced in budget mangement preferably in a large multinational banking corporation.

You will need excellent Project and Programme management techniques including the application of industry standard methodologies such as Prince or APM, with complex modelling and scenario planning as a pre-requisite.  Financial Services and technology consultancy experience is essential with an understanding of the positioning of Technology, the business and change within a complex programme structure.  Experience of front end tools such as CRM and workflow is essential as is Client Data concepts to include a sound knowledge of the principal around client data mastering.
