Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) Director I, Business Development, IDS Global Integrated Sensors The Director, Business Development for Global Integrated Sensors is responsible for the development of business opportunities focused on domestic and international customers pursuing Missile Defense (MD) solutions. The Director is responsible for developing strategies to grow both the domestic market and expanding the footprint for current franchise products to new markets with emphasis on international opportunities . Responsibilities include the following core capability areas of Air and Missile Defense Radar systems, Persistent Surveillance, Tactical C2, and Global CLS. Proven ability to develop, identify and assess new business opportunities, and assign new business resources to achieve $4B+ annual revenue generation. The Director needs to be knowledgeable of requirements, resources, USG, internal customers, acquisition strategies and international FMS and DCS MD process. Interact with USG and international customers to identify, qualify, shape and deliver Business Development (BD) products to the business. Has and can expand customer intimacy with MD, specifically the Missile Defense Agency and International Air and Missile Defense customers. Work across product lines and functional areas as required ensuring affordable integrated solutions for air and missile defense solutions to all domestic and international customers. Provide direction, support of the formulation, implementation and management of discretionary resources and associated business development processes. Be a prudent steward of company resources. Understand the customer, the weapon systems and the competition. Understand the customer?s procurement process, funding capabilities, priorities and requirements. Plan, coordinate and execute a prioritized synchronization strategy that focuses on closing pursuits that impact the current AOP followed by 5 ? year plan projections. Respond quickly and effectively to all customer requests for information and prioritize follow on level of effort. Location: Woburn, Ma or Huntsville, AL- Only one position with 2 postings, one for each location. Basic Qualifications (required): Bachelors Degree, 15+ years Domestic and International defense business experience/expertise Strong understanding in joint/coalition operations and systems and international customers Strong understanding of customer requirements, priorities, funding and acquisition processes including FMS and DCS Ability and willingness to travel on a regular basis (2-3X per month), including frequent international travel as necessary.
