Director, Indonesia ECM recruitment

Main Duties/Responsibilities

Responsible for leading and providing primary coverage of ECM initiatives in Indonesia with the marketing planning process for each pitch/transaction
Originate and execute equity capital market transactions (IPOs, follow-ons and rights offerings private placements) for clients in Indonesia
Establish network of corporate clients and develop close relationships with regulatory authorities and professional parties within the Indonesia and/or regional capital markets community
Produce market intelligence materials drawing upon various data sources – proprietary dialogue with investors, public databases and market information systems, equity research, economic and market reports, etc
Produce financial/statistical analysis of precedent transactions, market trends and market based valuations, using the bank’s standard models where appropriate
Research relevant company and sector information (eg size, strategy, products) and financial information (eg accounts, share price graphs, deals etc) in support of Investment Banking marketing efforts
Attend client meetings (as appropriate)
Provide support to other investment banking teams across the region as required; work closely with Equity Sales and Research in marketing, book building, allocation and pricing strategies

Experience and Skills required

Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in ECM, with responsibility for origination, pricing, structuring, marketing and execution of equity capital market transactions, with a focus on INDONESIA.
Can demonstrate a successful transaction record and their contribution to the winning of business.
Flexibility, to work closely with both the Indonesia country coverage and regional corporate finance teams, in the origination of business, the sustaining of strong client relationships and the effective execution of transactions.
Negotiating skills and professional gravitas to enable strong working relationships with other heads of ECM in syndication.
Detailed knowledge of the Indonesia institutional investor client base.
Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia (written and spoken) – essential
