Director, Infrastructure Fund recruitment
DIF is an independent dedicated fund management company offering investors access to portfolios of infrastructure and renewable energy assets. DIF was formed in 2005, with the launch of its first fund and currently manages three funds. The funds target investments in PPP/PFI and renewable energy projects. DIF has invested c. €700 million across the three funds, in ~ 85 assets with a total project value of around €10 billion in the more established markets of Europe, including the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Ireland, Belgium, Denmark and the Netherlands.
DIF has a team of 29 investment professionals and has offices in the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, UK and Germany.
Reporting to the Head of Asset Management, the successful candidate will have prior experience with PPP/ PFI assets gained whilst working within an equity fund, a financial advisor, a contractor, a lender or a technical advisor.
He/she will be expected to manage 12 to 14 of DIF’s UK PPP/ PFI assets including representing DIF on investee company Boards, liaising with lenders, Authorities and sub-contactors.
The successful candidate will require:
- Specific experience of PPP/ PFI infrastructure assets as an investor or subcontractor or financial advisor.
- Experience of interacting at a senior level with Board Members, Authorities, sub-contractors and lenders.
- An ability to work flexibly in a small team.
- Excellent analytical, financial and communication skills.
- Good understanding of PPP/ PFI financial reporting and models.
- Ability to work in European languages would be an advantage.
- More than seven years experience in the industry.
