Job Summary: Leads a team of investigators in planning and executing investigations of acts of fraud, violations of company policy, acts of a criminal nature, and certain acts of harassment and intimidation that involve the operations of CSX. Works under limited supervision with moderate latitude for initiative and independent judgment. Primary Activities and Responsibilities: Lead a team of investigators in the planning and execution of investigations of acts of fraud, specific violation of company policy, certain acts of harassment, intimidation, and acts of a criminal nature that involve the operations of the company. Develop solutions to identify emerging fraud trends and implement proactive fraud detection program utilizing data analytic tools. Provide on the job training, guidance, and counsel to the investigation team on the handling of complex investigation issues on a day-to-day basis and coordinate investigations with Human Resources, Law, and CSX Police departments, where appropriate. Maintain a thorough understanding of company policies and federal and state regulations and utilize this knowledge to assist investigators in identifying resources and best course of action to take for the timely and effective resolution of the investigations. Assess fraud risks across the organization and communicate outcomes to senior leadership and Risk Committee. Miscellaneous activities and responsibilities as assigned by manager.
