Our clients are an established Not For Profit organisation with multiple services in Sydney. They are opening a new centre in the Bankstown region. This centre is currently being built and is due for a January/February open. With goals of providing high quality education, this centre aims to offer inclusive care for children with additional needs.
With a special needs focus, you will be designing inclusive activities with your team and be ordering equipment to support those activities. You will be responsible for recruiting your team and working in partnership with the Support Office, Inclusion Support Agencies, relevant government bodies and all other key stakeholders.
As a director you will be responsible for liaising with parents, managing staff, handling DOC’s accreditations, fee enquiries and the day to day running of the centre.
Applicants will have strong communication skills, be organised and have great team leadership skills. Ideally, you will have experience in leading staff when working with children with disabilities and complex needs, ideally Autism Spectrum Disorder and have a great understanding of inclusive practice.
You must have a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and previous experience in a Director’s position.
