Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, the DIRECTOR for the department of OFFICE OF RESEARCH AND GRANTS ADMINISTRATION (OGRA) for St. Lukes – Roosevelt Hospital will be playing an integral part in providing management and administration to the department including financial, operational and personnel activities as well as serving as a liaison to other hospitals departments and services. This role will oversee our Research Grants and Finance Office, Animal Care Facility, as well as our Institutional Review Board Staff.
This position will require you to have Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration with five years or more of administrative experience in a hospital or healthcare setting. Experience with the implementation of sophisticated IT programs preferred. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and GroupWise. Familiarity with website development preferred. The candidate must be comfortable making presentations to various bodies.
