Director Level Programme Manager

 

It will involve the management of the entire MD D community within the Change programme as well as the same level stakeholders from the impacted function areas.

The role as Programme Manager is to execute best practice, define governance deliver advisory services on global strategic programmes across the business and ensure a consistent approach to delivery is taken across the regional divisions and is in alignment with the overall business strategy.

This role requires the successful candidate to be able to build, maintain influence relationships with the most senior of MD/CxO communities, to market identify project demand across the bank. Furthermore the successful candidate will ensure that the portfolio stays within utilisation, budget and performance targets, whilst managing interdependencies with all strategic programmes with the bank. Re-enforcing a global culture of collaboration and the continual improvement of programme management standards, tools, governance best practice methodologies is crucial for the success of this programme from a business perspective.

With regards to background, a strong education in both technical business disciplines as well as having experience in industry (investment banking) and management consultancy is key. Having held multi £million, multi-year budgets and the command of large change teams is also essential. There must also be a strong track-record of delivering large scale complex programmes with the experience of developing implementing governance reporting frameworks. Backgrounds such as Programme Management, Portfolio Management, COO Business Management will be necessary for this position in addition to be able to successful relationships with your fellow MD/D peer group on global location.
