Director level Senior Application Support Manager recruitment

My client is looking for a proven leader who has a technical hands on support background but more recently has had a track record of setting up large support teams and efforts in supporting a large complex environment.

Job responsibilities for this individual include

- Building and Leading an exceptional strong Support Organization
- Managing a 24 x 7 support model with efficiency and structure
- Manage a number of large and small sized vendor relationships
- See that the transition of new projects through to production and go live state
- Be an integral part of the Strategy and Leadership team in making important recommendations and decisions that impact the overall operation of the organization

The ideal candidate will
- be an Application Support Manager / Leader in a large Regional/Global Organization
- Would have exp managing multiple teams and a large number of people
- Have a proven track record of seeing large high impact/priority projects through from release to production
- Have vendor management experience
- Have excellent organizational, leadership and managerial qualities
- Be good at managing stakeholder expectations and providing transparency within the organization
- Have excellent communication skills in English
