Job Requirements
You Must be Currently based in the GCC Region and be fluent in English and Arabic both Written and Spoken.
Completed M A advisory mandates in the MENA region.
University degree in Business, with specialization in Financial Management and MBA in finance and / or professional qualifications such as CA/ CPA/ CFA is preferable
• About 10-12 years of experience in corporate finance or banking related industry of which a minimum of 4 years should be in a similar position / responsibility, preferably in the financial services industry.
• Familiarity with financial statements and financial analysis
Must be Currently based in the GCC, Fluent in English and Arabic both Written and Spoken.
• Software skills: MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Language skills: English language proficiency, Arabic an advantage

A solid Investment Firm are looking for an Islamic Investment Banking Director to focus on GCC advisory mandates, some direct investments. Working within the region in M A is required plus Arabic language,
Job Detailed Roles and Responsibilities:
STRATEGIC
¨Participate and assist in the formulation of strategy, annual business plans and budgets of the investment division and to support business strategy.
¨Regularly review performance of direct reports in the investment banking division.
¨Participate and assist in the implementation of procedures and controls in the investment banking division.
¨To assist in managing investment banking business to generate revenue through advising on local and international investment banking advisory mandates in compliance with local and international regulations and Islamic Shariah principles.
¨Promote cross divisional/ functional collaboration and coordination to further the achievement business objectives by creating and leveraging upon intra-organizational synergies.
¨Initiate, participate and assist in originating profitable investment banking engagements in the local and international market.
¨Manage relationships with key influencers in the investment community to build investment banking capabilities. Network with industry players and create a platform for the origination of investment banking mandates.
¨Decide on market opportunities and review those markets for the sourcing, structuring and executing of investment banking deals.
¨Review, evaluate and ensure that investment banking deals are structured in compliance with Islamic Shariah requirements as well as local and international regulations and consistent with quality requirements.
¨Ensure effective and timely execution of all investment banking deals.
¨Participate and assist in the marketing and PR initiatives for the investment banking division
OPERATIONAL
¨Identify and manage investment banking origination activities.
¨Network with industry players and create a platform for investment banking deal origination.
¨Prepare and negotiate client proposals and mandate agreements and devise and agree suitable fee structures.
¨Participate and assist in coordinating a deal pipeline report and regularly monitor the status of the pipeline.
¨Stay current with and be knowledgeable about investment banking activity.
¨Promote firms reputation generally through the media and business community.
¨Network with business leaders, government officials and other professional firms in connection with investment banking matters.
¨Coordinate the preparation and delivery of investment banking pitches and presentations to clients to originate investment banking mandates.
¨Execute investment banking mandates professionally.
¨Manage client relationships generally.
¨Ensure that investment banking activities are in compliance with internal procedural guidelines, local and international regulations and Islamic Shariah principles.
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
¨Allocate work to and manage the activities of direct reports.
¨Monitor performance of direct reports, conduct performance reviews and guide them in managing their performance by providing appropriate feedback and counseling.
