Director / Managing Director, Investment Banking - Internet / Digital Media Coverage

Market Leading Boutique Investment Bank is seeking a senior Director to join their technology practice and assist in the coverage within the digital media / internet sector of their corporate advisory practice. The client is an international firm with offices across the USA and Europe. They work primarily with  mid to large cap corporations across various industry sectors and provide advisory on MA, financings and private placements (typical deal size between 300million  - 1 billion US Dollars).

 

As a managing director your primary role will be client facing , helping to bring in new mandates across this growing sector within the US markets. You will be a key member in the origination process, expected to bring your own book of clients and bring in business independently and you will be supported by a first class execution team. The client offers a very  attractive payment structure and partnerships for the right candidate. Ideally this position will be based within their New York or San Francisco offices, however other locations may be discussed if the fit is right.

 

Key Requirements:

-          Several years of experience at the Director / Managing Director level with a leading investment bank, boutique bank or advisory firm

-          A proven track record in sourcing and originating your own deals within the technology / digital media / internet sector within the US (ideally experience within their typical deal size in the upper mid market)

-          Strong understanding of the execution process and ability to manage and delegate to more junior team members
