Director / MD – Power & Utilities Corporate Finance recruitment
This firm has a strong presence in the UK and across Europe and on the back of this has continued to grow its infrastructure and energy advisory platform. As the business continues to grow they are now looking to bring on additional deal originators. As a Director / MD you will be responsible for the origination of corporate finance transactions in the power and utilities sector. You will bring a wealth of transaction experience spanning conventional power generation / transmission and utilities deals. You will have a strong network of contacts across power and utilities companies and financial sponsors.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Origination of corporate finance mandates in the power and utilities sector
- Overseeing pitch / presentation efforts and managing the execution of mandated deals
- Managing junior resources on transactions, providing career mentoring to junior members of the power utilities team
Suitable candidates will possess:
- Power utilities corporate finance experience developed in investment banking, Big 4 advisory firms or industry
- A strong network of contacts in the power utilities and recent track record of relevant MA deals
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience leading a deal team and managing junior resources
