The MMP Analytics team is dedicated to help build the next generation of MMP strategy, programs and products. It needs a leader who can develop, grow scale ? we are looking for a stellar Sr. Manager of Managed Marketplaces Analytics . This position will report into Director of Managed Marketplaces Analytics; and closely work together with the NA Analytics leadership team, as well as the general managers of MMP. It is a uniquely interesting and challenging role, and we are looking for a stellar leader who combines intellectual curiosity to find insights with superb synthesis skills to communicate these, and big eagerness to drive business results. On day to day, the leader will partner with MMP business units, Customer Service, Product Development, Finance, buyers, sellers etc. in different markets like North America, European Union, Asia Pacific etc. to understand areas of opportunities that will reduce friction in domestic and cross border trade while dramatically increasing trust on the site. This is a hands-on position which requires deep knowledge buyer/seller experience, buyer?s/seller?s cognitive behavior, online economics, and eBay programs and products. It will heavily involve providing analytic oversight on business analysis, optimization, modeling, ROI analysis, A/B testing and more. Key Responsibilities: Work closely with business leaders in MMP Business Unit to drive ideas have impact on customers and business. Partner with them their teams to deeply understand the dynamics of their strategy, programs and products, and help them optimize business performance, recommend business investment and drive value for our customers and shareholders Lead, hire and develop a team of analysts to build strong analytic, communication and presentation skills Provide global leadership, coordination and knowledge sharing with peer teams in Europe and Asia Become subject-matter experts on selling and buying experience at eBay, especially pertaining to how best to generate Trust in the Marketplace Communicate business performance in a clear and insightful way to the business to facilitate timely and informed decision making Independently execute analysis, build out fact base through deep and innovative analysis of eBay's large and rich datasets Streamline processes and identify/execute on automation and time-saving opportunities to reduce non-value added work
