Director, Mortgage Portfolio Retention Job in West Palm Beach 33409, Florida US
The Company is seeking a Director of Home Retention responsible for all loss mitigation efforts on an assigned the portfolio of loans. This person will manage a team of customer-facing relationship managers. The position is an important senior leadership role within the Ocwen organization. The candidate will play a key role in: (1) efficient management of home retention operations, (2) identification and implementation of business improvement opportunities, (3) process reengineering efforts, (4) management reporting requirements development, (5) presentation of recommendations to senior management on a broad range of business issues, (6) management of special projects and change initiatives, and (7) compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. This position will report directly to the Vice President of Home Retention and be located in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Responsibilities will include:
•Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality
•Manage a geographically dispersed team of relationship managers including staffing, performance, incentives, etc.
•Develop loss mitigation strategies that support company goals
•Ensure loss mitigation processes provide a seamless and compliant customer experience
•Identify and implement business improvement opportunities through data analysis, benchmarking, and industry research
•Oversee the identification, creation, and analysis of metrics to track the success of loss mitigation goals
•Work closely with other departments and service providers to ensure delivery of business priorities
•Identify, develop and/or oversee implementation of special projects
•Identify and execute best practices, policies, procedures, and processes
•Represent Ocwen in interactions with regulators, investors, and other stakeholders
Key Result Areas:
•Ensure production, profitability, quality, and variability goals are met
•Develop strategies to increase performance and efficiency of the operation
•Implement best-in-class policies, procedures, and processes that also ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
•Analyze the business and present data driven improvement recommendations to senior management
•Effective management of a geographical dispersed team
•Help homeowners with obtaining modifications or alternatives to foreclosure
Qualifications:
•Bachelors degree from top 20 school in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or other disciplines such as Statistics, Economics or Operations Research (MBA Preferred – ideally top tier)
•Minimum 3-5 years Senior level experience in mortgage or consumer lending industry
•Strategy consulting experience at top management consulting firm preferred (Booz Company, McKinsey, BCG, Bain)
•Demonstrated success at integrating various functional areas supporting customer contact as well as leading transformational change
•Working knowledge of IT with regard to customer service and loss mitigation
•Experience in bridging statistical analysis, technology and process optimization
•Experience in managing a global operation and capacity to travel outside the United States
•Call center experience preferred
