Director, National Banking - Treasury Sales : Manages the Treasury Management Sales function including new business development and cross sales activity. Duties include leading, coaching and training sales team; generating profitable revenues; advise on and monitor competitive product set; and act as management contact with some of Top Tier clients when needed. Establish and maintain a strong working relationship with Bank Leaders and Commercial Banking Sales Leaders to establish effective Treasury Management sales and support strategies and foster effective inter-department teamwork. Serve as the escalation point and primary liaison with Treasury Management team for critical unresolved issues or opportunities. This position is able to reside in any of the states in which we have a physical community banking location (Nebraska, Colorado, Arizona, California, Nevada, Texas, Florida, or Missouri). Travel up to 50% of the time. Essential Job Functions: Supervise the Treasury Management Sales function. Insure that revenue generation is profitable and pricing is within stated guidelines. Lead/mentor/coach the sales team to develop deeper understanding of the consultative sales process and preferred solutions for our customers/prospects. Initiate new business opportunities for the bank through the development of new business contacts and maintenance of existing client Treasury Management relationships to ensure sufficient profitable revenue generation. Provide advice and counsel to clients and prospective clients regarding structure, trends and conditions of Treasury Management products and services and general banking trends. Provide leadership in terms of meeting pricing objectives, eliminating waived or discounted pricing where practical, and improving overall profitability. The manager will have the authority to approve pricing exceptions within signing authority level or recommend deals for denial. Manages the Treasury Management Sales team by establishing annual performance goals; allocating resources, assessing performance results. Conducts regular meetings with associates to discuss problems and train staff on any procedure changes. Executes a Sales specific Business Plan. Actively solicit external (and internal) talent to the team; oversee the hiring of members of the team and promote a positive atmosphere within the group. Participates in community and business functions/groups to ensure a positive image for the bank and to promote the treasury management profession. Actively participate in a variety of bank committee meetings related to Treasury Management and administrative matters. Develops and maintains and engaged, fair and equitable work environment.
