Director of Benefits HRIS will impact over 87,000 employees located throughout North America! Reporting to the Vice President of Benefits, Payroll HRIS, the professional in this critical role will develop, manage and monitor the benefit programs, policies and practices. Working closely with HR business partners, operational and executive leadership, the Director of Benefits HRIS will develop and manage a benefit strategy that will attract, retain and meet the needs of our outstanding employee base.

Specific accountabilities include:
• Establish and drive the mission, vision, principles, goals, strategies, plans and measurements necessary to ensure corporate benefit program success
• Develop and implement strategic and functional plans for the benefit team
• Direct the planning, design, implementation and administration of the benefit program
• Be the corporate subject matter expert regarding changes in legislation that may affect benefit policies
• Oversee compliance with legal requirements
• Hire, lead, train and motivate a high-performing team
• Develop strong working relationships inter and intra departmentally
• Effectively coordinate with HRIS /IT regarding compensation-related applications
• Maintain statistical data relative to premiums, claims, and costs
• Interface with service providers in order to resolve claim problems, issues and other administrative matters
• Analyze and resolve benefit entitlement and payment issues
• Drive and manage efficient open enrollment process

Job Requirements
Qualifications, Skills Knowledge Required
• Undergraduate degree
• 10+ years of relevant experience with at least 5 years in a management / leadership role
• Experience leading the benefit area of a large, geographically dispersed organization
• Acquisition experience preferred
• Proven communicator, leader and consensus builder
