The Alzheimer’s Association of Queensland is currently seeking an experienced and skilled
Director of Care to oversee and manage the Association’s residential aged care facilities at
Paddington. The Residential Aged Care facility is a 40 bed high care facility.
To be successful in this role you will need to have proven leadership abilities and
operational management experience in a similar role. Responsibilities include the
leadership and guidance of staff as well as the day-to-day operational management of the
facility including the financial, clinical, quality, risk, human resources and administration
management requirements.
Innovation, commitment to quality care and continuous improvement are key qualities
sought. Candidates that enjoy leading and managing in a multi-faceted environment,
with excellent communication, management, financial and budgeting skills and clinical
governance abilities are encouraged to apply. Experience in the aged care sector will be
highly valued, as is solid working knowledge of the accreditation, funding requirements,
relevant standards and legislation.
