Director of Clinical Operations Nurse Practitioner
The Director of Clinical Operations, Corporate provides support and direction for existing clinical programs and market both for care coordination/case management and direct care by INSPIRIS providers. The DCO also actively participates in the design and implementation of new clinical programs, services and markets. The DCO works collaboratively with key leaders in each market, the Nurse Case Managers, and key corporate leaders to focus on meeting clinical, process, and financial outcomes. The DCO may assume temporary leadership and oversight of a specific clinical program or market as needed or provide the clinical leadership in a new implementation. The DCO is an active member of the INSPIRIS corporate clinical leadership team. The DCO reports to the Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Is a subject matter expert on INSPIRIS clinical program, the Electronic Medical Record, care coordination and case management
- Serves as a resource for existing clinical programs and markets as assigned
- Participates as an active member of the Clinical Leadership Team
- Successfully builds and maintains effective relationships with INSPIRIS clinical and business colleagues
- Responsible for achieving expected clinical, quality, growth, and business outcomes
- Participates in orientation and ongoing provider and case manager training
- Provides clinical expertise in new program and/or market implementations
- Interfaces with new and existing customers in the implementation and ongoing operations of clinical programs
- Current and unencumbered license as an RN and an advanced practice nurse practitioner
- Master's degree and national certification as a Geriatric Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner, or Adult Nurse Practitioner
- At least 5 years clinical experience required, geriatric clinical experience preferred
- At least 5 years direct or indirect leadership experience in health care
- Knowledge of managed care and integrated health care delivery systems
- Competent to use standard, MS Office suite software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access
- Driver's License without restrictions
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
