JOB TITLE:                              Director of Clinical Recruitment

 

 

Summary:

 

The Director of Clinical Recruitment is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization.  This will be achieved through local and national recruiting plans, employing tradition sourcing strategies and resources, as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas.  The Director of Recruitment is responsible for full cycle recruitment for all clinical hires with the goal of ensuring that only the best talent is recruited.

 

The Director of Clinical Recruitment will be a key contributor to the organization’s growth. Working closely with the Vice President of Human Resources, the successful candidate will identify business challenges/opportunities and will develop effective solutions in the form of processes, programs and/or initiatives across the company. 

 

Essential duties and responsibilities:

 

·         Manage the full cycle recruitment process for the organization by working closely with all Site Chairs on their respective openings and providing them with processes and strategies to fill their vacancies.

·         Manage the day to day operations of the Recruitment Department by working closely with all respective internal departments including Contracting and Credentialing, Malpractice, Marketing and Human Resources.

·         Manage the recruitment function by collecting all CVs, screening the candidates, and dispersing them to the respective Site Chairs for review.  Once approved for an interview, coordinate the site visit with each Site chair and manage the travel reimbursement of each candidate.

·         Maintain constant communications with each Site Chair and ensure site visits semi-annually at each site.

·         Manage all recruitment events such as Resident and fellow dinners, SRNA lunches, conferences and career fairs.  Responsible for coordinating attendees at each function, ensuring prompt payment for each function is made and is responsible for overall management of event planning.

·         Manage all purchases within the department including all event giveaways and physician interview giveaways.

·         This position is responsible for all marketing strategies as they relate to the recruitment function.  Management of journal advertising, collateral, job flyers, dinner invitations, online advertising designs, in addition to other marketing resources, is a key role of this position.  Planning for growth will be a focal point between the Recruiting and Marketing Departments.

·         Will be responsible for managing the clinical database and all of its functions with respect to recruitment.

·         Must develop relationships with all candidates in the pipeline and maintain those relationships upon offer and acceptance. 

·         Manage the “yes to contract” NAPA process for each candidate.

·         Responsible for overseeing the Clinical Recruiter.

Qualifications/Requirements:

 

·         Must have at least 8-10 years of recruiting experience.  Must have at least 5 years of those years of recruitment experience in the healthcare industry.

·         Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred in Business Management/Human Resources/Healthcare Administration.

·         Must have management experience with knowledge of Human Resource functions.

·         Must have excellent analytical, organizational, and computer skills (Microsoft word package, database exp, etc).

·         This position requires excellent platform presentation skills in order to present properly to Site Chairs, Partners, candidate interviews and events.

·         Ability to respond effectively and quickly to all candidates and internal resources.

·         Ability to negotiate and communicate complex concepts/business issues verbally and in writing.

·         Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and projects.

·         Ability to develop and maintain business relationships.

·         Ability to travel 40% of the time.
