Director of Clinical Training/Clinical Assistant Professor Job in Buffalo 14214, New York US
Medaille College in Buffalo, NY is seeking applicants for a full-time Director of Clinical Training (DOCT)/Clinical Assistant Professor for the Department of Graduate Counseling and Psychology, beginning July 1, 2012. This 12-month faculty position includes overseeing training in the MA Programs in Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Psychology, and the Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology. The DOCT will be responsible for developing and overseeing clinical practicum and internship placements and providing program leadership in training issues. The DOCT will have an appointment as Clinical Faculty at the rank of Assistant or above. Applicants must have a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from an APA-accredited program and be licensed or license eligible in NY. Successful applicants will have administrative experience, graduate level teaching and clinical supervision, preferably in a program based on the practitioner-scholar model, and a strong record of clinical experience. Interest and experience in psychological assessment, psychodynamic psychotherapy, diversity, and/or clinical child psychology are preferred.
