Director of Community Partnerships Job in North Andover 01845, Massachusetts US
Merrimack College’s School of Education invites applications for the position of Director of Community Partnerships. This individual will be part of the new Office of Placement, Partnerships Licensure. This new position will serve as the central contact in the School of Education for all community (non-licensure) partnerships, facilitate two-way communication and engagement between such community partners and School of Education academic programs, faculty and staff, and oversee the development, implementation, and expansion of all non-licensure community-based field experiences, internships, and clinical residencies. These sites encompass both external community-based sites as well as internal sites within Merrimack College (e.g., clinical residencies for the Higher Education and Community Engagement programs). This is a full-time 12-month administrative position, starting on July 2, 2012.
Minimum qualifications for the position:
· Master's degree required
· Minimum experience of four (4) years working with community partners
· Teaching and/or administrative experience in higher education preferred
· Demonstrated organizational, technological, collaboration and communication skills within an educational or community-based institution
· Salary commensurate with education and experience.
The School of Education offers over two dozen licensure and non-licensure academic programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels, including new undergraduate majors in Human Development and STEM Education and new graduate programs in Higher Education and Community Engagement. The School of Education also houses the Center for Engaged Democracy, The Graduate Institute for Education, and the Center for Youth and Families.
