The Director of Contractor Management is responsible for providing leadership to the Field Management team which is responsible for the recruitment, training, auditing, retention and maintenance of the company's independent service contractor network. The Director of Contractor Management will also foster an environment that drives a high level of service to our Service Centers supporting the achievement of common goals which are aligned with the overall strategy of the company.
Job Functions:
- Provide leadership, guidance, coaching and training to Field Managers regarding contracts, the recruitment of service contractors, processes and procedures.
- Develop and deliver a set of performance metrics that measure productivity, workload, quality and coverage of the service contractor network. Proactively and consistently monitor and utilize these metrics to identify issues, trends and resolutions for both the contractor network and the Field Management team focusing on continued improvement.
- Develop and implement procedures for the effective and efficient operation of the Field Management team. Review periodically to ensure continued support of the organization and the Service Centers.
- Work with all levels of managers within the company to fulfill customer requirements and service level agreements.
- Responsible for the contractual relationship between the service contractor and First Service Networks including but not limited to: the review, revision and approval of all service contracts, periodic audits to ensure agreements are current and compliant with terms.
- Develop and execute audit practices that concentrate on service contractor compliance with company practices and regulations,improved invoice timeliness and accuracy, response times and contractual obligations.
Requirements:
- At least 10 years demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop teams across geographically dispersed locations.
- Experience negotiating terms and conditions and contracts focused on achievement of mutual goals.
- Excellent problem solving, analytical and negotiation skills utilizing data and facts to drive improvements.
- Proven experience providing excellent customer service (internal and external) and a solid understanding of customer service practices and procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Previous experience with facilities maintenance i.e., HVAC, beverage or food service equipment and leading a team of field service technicians is strongly preferred.
