Responsibilities include:

Develop, implement, and enforce an effective internal controls and corporate governance environment, e.g. policies and procedures, training and communication, ongoing monitoring and audits, periodic operational control reviews, development of recommendations for improvement
Lead the complete, accurate and consistent recording and reporting of financial matters and preparation of financial statements
Ensure compliance with appropriate Generally Accepted Accounting Principals and both PRC and US regulatory requirements, including FCPA and SOX
Establish and oversee the daily operations of managing accounting transactions, processing invoices and payments, interfacing with FESCO on payroll, managing accounts receivables and accounts payables, etc.
Coordinate and manage all statutory audits and reporting requirements
Provide strategic direction on all financial systems, management reporting and ad hoc analysis.
Coordinate and manage all activities related to ticketing services, ensuring proper financial controls and operational effectiveness.
Recruit, develop and retain a high-performing team
Work collaboratively with other lines of businesses to understand their needs and implement business practices that enable the business while ensuring that the proper controls are in place and functioning effectively

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
CICPA with strong expertise in China Accounting Standards
Minimum 12to 15 years of experience in Accounting or Finance, including at least 5 to 7 years of experience in Public Accounting (i.e. Big 4 type firm) and at least 7 to 10 years of experience in the Controllership function of another Joint Venture or MNC in China
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to define a clear vision, motivate others in a positive way to achieve desired results, and develop a successful team
Demonstrated ability to work within a matrix organization and collaborate effectively with multiple partners from different backgrounds
Proven expertise in using and leveraging large-scale ERP systems, such as SAP
Proven ability to understand and work in a multi-faceted, complex business that relies heavily on capital, labor, creative expertise, and technology
Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills
Resilience to work within a complex organization and achieve results
Fluent in written, spoken and reading English and Putonghua

Desired Qualifications:

MBA or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Expertise in International Accounting Standards and/or US GAAP
Demonstrated track record in establishing the Controllership function for a new business
Interest in networking and partnering with colleagues around the world
