Director of Digital and Social Communications recruitment
As the Director of Digital and Social Communications, you will help to create and define the agency’s offering to the financial services sector. In this role, you will have the opportunity to build on the firm’s experience to date and make your mark in positioning the firm as an innovator in the financial services space.
Specifically, you will research and develop client digital strategies and be able to incorporate a broad range digital tools and platforms to deliver such strategies. You will also drive new business and build on the firm’s existing digital credentials. You’ll develop new client relationships, cultivate current clients and contacts, and create/present compelling proposals with energy and enthusiasm.
You will also be ensuring that your team and colleagues across the globe are delivering a seamless and integrated digital programme for clients. As a senior member of the firm’s leadership team, you will evangelise on behalf of Digital PR to promote digital integration both internally and externally, and work with the firm’s leadership to further develop the proposition, client base and global footprint.
As the ideal candidate you have strong demonstrable experience of digital communications and marketing. You have reliable insights into and credible experience working with online media, social networks, blogs and online communities, with good knowledge of the latest digital tools, technologies and capabilities, including knowledge of SEO, and both digital/traditional PR.
You are a strategic thinker, who is ambitious and professional, with strong leadership skills and a creative and professional approach. Digital Agency and/or financial services experience would be ideal. Most crucially, you have strong commercial focus and desire to help build the firm’s digital business.
