Job Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced, driven, and energetic Director of Direct Marketing to join our team. In this role you’ll use your experience in leading marketing efforts associated with direct channels. You will segment prospects into most profitable (over the lifetime of the customer’s tenure with us) and addressable market segments, work with marketing analytics to create predictive modeling to score likelihood to convert and enhance likelihood of acquiring low churn customers, create detailed tracking in order to measure close loop campaign effectiveness, and align the direct channel strategies so they are consistent with the company's strategic marketing plans. You are creative and talented and can focus your talents on email marketing, web marketing, mobile, SEM, SEO, other PPC and online ads and direct mail as you continuously evolve new direct marketing ideas. You are experienced in the development of the direct marketing budgets and will ensure that overall sales and profitability objectives are met. Experience/Skills Required
- BA/BS with emphasis in Marketing, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Business or other quantitative, analytical field.
- 10+ years experience in Direct Response Marketing.
- Superior forecasting techniques, analytical ability to measure responses, and close loop marketing to inform next waves of campaign.
- Experience working with Marketing Analytics team to create, enhance and refine predictive models e.g. propensity to respond, propensity to convert, and the highest value customers e.g. lowest cost to serve, longest tenure, strong advocate of our service offerings
- Experience working in the Consumer Products and communications/telecom/ cable/wireless industries to include management of direct marketing, forecasting, and web marketing.
- Experience working in a multi-channel consumer products company with a demonstrated record of superior business and personal performance.
- Experience with direct marketing strategy, execute direct marketing campaigns and measure campaign effectiveness. Highly analytical approach to compare marketing efficiency, and modify/enhance program executions as appropriate.
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- MBA or similar Master’s degree preferred.
- Customer segmentation and lead generation/scoring experience.
- Familiarity with multiple channels of distribution, with special emphasis on direct mail.
- Broadband/communications background.
