School Details: White Oak School Program is a program of The Arc of Southside. It is a fully accredited private day school for students with disabilities. We offer the necessary support and attention needed by each student to succeed. We currently provide education to twenty students.
Position Description: The Director is responsible for the administrative needs of the school, overseeing all aspects of school management including but not limited to; personnel management, regulatory compliance, quality assurance and fiscal management. Additionally the Director is responsible for the day to day operations of the Education program ensuring the needs of students are met through their Individual Education Plans.
Qualifications: Candidate must hold and maintain a valid five year renewable post graduate professional license issued by the Board of Education with an endorsement in at least one area of disability. Candidate must have the experience, skills and knowledge to support the operations of a school. Candidate must adhere to the values and philosophies of inclusion principles that support students with disabilities in maintaining a life in the community.
