Here is a great opportunity for a motivated and experienced nurse to function as the Director of Emergency Room Services at a highly reputable hospital in the Houston, TX metro area. This position will oversee a busy emergency department and will also be in charge of an urgent care center.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Reports to the CNO and looks over a 30+ bed emergency department that experiences greater than 50,000 annual patient visits
- Must have 2 years recent Emergency Department management or director level experience
- BSN Degree required, Masters highly preferred
- 5+ years of emergency room clinical staff experience preferred
- ACLS, BLS required
The ideal will have a BSN and have recent experience working as a Director of Emergency Room Services in a hospital setting. A strong Emergency Department Nurse Manager will be strongly considered.
