Main Duties
• National Management of Physician EMR Interfaces
• Management of managers
• Presentations to Sr. VP’s Regional Vice-President/Regional Sales VP on a regular basis on staff productivity/staffing levels/issues etc
• Prioritize Certification/Development Requests with IT and Business Leadership
• Insure staff meet their productivity goals
• Setting direction / objectives for staff
• Allocation / alignment of resources
• Staff development
• Staff performance and development reviews
• Serve as point of escalation; liaison to some EMR vendors and other internal/external groups
• Serve as point of escalation; liason to Sr. Business Team.
• Provides guidance and assistance to the sales organization regarding interfacing and integration requirements.
• Participates in direct interaction with clients and some clients' EMR vendors. Communicates technical information to sales team and clients in an understandable manner.
• Maintains documentation and metrics on interface implementation projects
• Strategize and prioritize future and current requirements for improved implementation efficiency and effectiveness
• Staff the CIS department with effective positions and personnel while maintaining cost efficiency
• Serve on multi—functional groups to improve customer experience
• Manage CIS IT resources within budgeted and corporate guidelines
• Conduct budget reviews with staff members and with Director Client Interface Services as needed
Responsible for teams IT budget, employee satisfaction, customer satisfaction, effective tier 3 support
• Understand strategic direction of Healthcare IT and influence external standards bodies, including but not limited to HL7, ACO, ELINCS and HIE
• Manages staff augmentation business relationship
• Creates and implements strategic interface improvement programs
• Ensures Project Quality
• Ensures project documents are complete, accurate and stored appropriately.
• Successful management of "$5M+ budget
Required Knowledge:
• HL7 Standards v.2.3 and higher
• Extensive Knowledge of EMR/EHR Vendors
• Ability to successfully manage remote staff
• Organizational Agility
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Product Suite
• Strategic Agility
• Political Savvy
• Organizational Agility
• Middleware Systems Concepts
Required Experience:
• 7+ Years of Management Experience
• 3+ Years of Managing Managers
• 2+ Years of working with staff outsourcing firms
• Ability to successfully manage $1M budget
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills
• Six Sigma Processes (Green Belt/Black Belt a plus)
• Success in a results driven environment
• Independent working capabilities
Special Requirement:
Up to 30% Travel ; work hours may vary depending upon timezones and project requirements
