Working closely with Proofpoint's operations teams to ensure they have all the administration tools they need in a 24x7 high availability environment
Ensuring the ongoing security, stability and performance of Proofpoint in a fast-paced environment defined by constant deployment
A proven track record running high-performing engineering organizations, with the ability to juggle multiple simultaneous projects at various scales and stages of completion
5+ yrs of experience in management
A passion for creating Enterprise solutions that over-achieve
A deep working knowledge of the entire stack of a modern Cloud technologies, from Hadoop to Cassandra, from MogileFS to Delegated Auth, from Hive to MySQL, and everything in between
An irrepressible excitement about the cloud and the possibilities it affords for new forms of services and applications
A strong tolerance for office tomfoolery
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
